Azure Course

In the Azure Course, learners will learn how to configure Azure infrastructure for cloud administrators all the way to integrating Azure services for cloud architects. Learners will also learn how to develop solutions that use storage tables, Cosmos DB storage, use a relational database, and solutions that use blob storage. Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing service that allows you to build, deploy, and manage applications through a global network of data centres.

Upon completion of the Azure Course, learners will be able to build, test, deploy and manage applications and services through Microsoft-managed data. Learners will be able to create Azure web apps, mobile apps and service API apps while implementing authentications and secure data solutions.

Describe core Azure services

  • Describe products available for Databases such as Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure Database for MySQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Database Migration service

Describe security, privacy, compliance, and trust

  • Determine if Azure is compliant for a business need
  • Describe the difference between authentication and authorisation

Describe Azure pricing Service Level Agreements, and Life Cycles

  • Describe the factors affecting costs such as resource types, services, locations, ingress and egress
  • Describe best practices for minimising Azure costs such as performing cost analysis, creating spending limits and quotas, using tags to identify cost owners, using Azure reservations and using Azure Advisor recommendations
  • Describe Azure Cost Management
