Data Security Courses intend to provide employees with an understanding of personal data and information, the background and principles of data protection, the consequences of not adhering to applicable laws and regulations, and employees’ responsibilities with respect to data protection.
These courses are widely used by many multinational corporations, including several based in the EU. The course synthesises privacy concepts and explains them simply — in a manner that will work in many different countries.
Upon completion of the Data Security Courses, learners will understand personal data and information, the background and principles of data protection. The programme will give learners a deeper understanding of the core privacy principles, data protection requirements, policies and procedures. Learners will have a working knowledge of data protection integration, third-party oversight and will be able to measure program effectiveness.

As the programme is conducted in English, a good working knowledge of the language is essential.
Delegates who cancel their registration less than 15 working days prior to programme/course commencement, will be liable for 50% of the programme fee. Those who do not participate in the course without cancelling will still be liable for the full fee. Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing to the Programme Manager.
Security Courses
This programme introduces learners to the foundations of Information Security. Learners will explore central building blocks of Cyber Security like fundamentals of a Formal Information and Security Risk Assessment. Learners will be introduced to Ethical Hacking, Foot printing and Reconnaissance together with scanning networks. Learners will also cover elements like Malware Threats, Evading IDS, Firewalls, and Honeypots, IoT Hacking.

Security Courses
This course will teach learners the best practices for designing, implementing, and deploying secure programs in Java. Learners will be taught the basics of Computer Database Management Systems and how to Apply information gathering techniques for computer system development.
