Diesel Pump and Injector Technical Trainer position available in Johannesburg
International Johannesburg based Manufacturing Organisation

Introduction:
Our client in a reputable international manufacturing organisation is currently looking for a Technical Trainer (Diesel Pumps) who will ensure the repair on all products and systems are carried out in accordance with company’s high technical repair standards.

Duties/responsibilities:

  • Use company’s given information, such as Electric Service Information, in addition to researched material to update and improve course content
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are applied and maintained in Service Training Centre
  • Prepare course documentation and other printed materials for students
  • Planning and coordination of technical training activities within the assigned countries (including creating & maintaining of Train the Trainer and technical training courses)
  • Obtain candidates register and ensure meal arrangements from responsible Automotive Aftermarket person
  • Achievement of qualitative Training related targets of Service Network i.e. training attendance & turnover, quality of course presentations (Customer Service Index)
  • Ensure Theory and Practical rooms are properly equipped, maintained in an orderly state and ready for courses
  • Provide practical workshop test equipment demonstrations in conjunction with Sales South Africa – Workshop Test Equipment

Qualifications:
Automotive Engineering Qualification ( Min NTC 3 )

Experience:
Minimum requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in automotive aftermarket Diesel Injection service field
  • Vehicle repair & diagnostic experience
  • Profound Diesel Fuel Injection technical experience
  • Understanding of automotive aftermarket parts market
  • Understanding of automotive workshop environment layouts & structures
  • No travel restrictions and valid Passport and Driving Licence
